Ann-Christin Antell returns with a collection of cozy Christmas novellas that follow the three generations of Barker women that readers have come to know and love in the Cotton Mill Trilogy.

In Loviisa’s Christmas it is 1865 and a young Loviisa is preparing for an idyllic Christmas celebration in Naantali. Loviisa’s husband, a sea captain, has brought home plenty of souvenirs, and the frosty morning has plenty of surprises in store.

In Christmas at the Örndahl Ironworks it’s 1896 and Martta Barker has her hands full with Christmas preparations in their family home at the Örndahl ironworks mansion. The family is eagerly waiting for uncle Fredrik to come home from his business trip in time for Christmas. Martta is also hoping that Anton, the smith’s son, will ask her to dance, but the joyful celebration takes an unexpected turn when Aapo, Martta’s little brother, falls through the ice. Is their Christmas ruined, or can a memorable celebration still be in the cards?

Christmas at the Falke Castle takes the reader to wartime. It is 1939 and Paula Falke has evacuated from Turku, escaping the war, to her mother-in-law’s Littoinen estate along with her son and grandmother Jenny. Paula’s husband is at the front, and the responsibility for the Littoinen factory weighs heavy on her shoulders, as does the responsibility for the whole family. Living with the in-laws is not always easy, but despite everything Paula plans on organizing a memorable Christmas for the whole family, and the factory workers.
