Anna-Liisa Ahokumpu (b. 1984) has her roots in northern Finland. She has studied creative writing and is interested in 20th-century history and the strange phenomena of the universe. Ahokumpu’s debut novel, The Thirteen Symphonies of Viktor Stanislaus , has been described as a polished, assured and powerful story in a minor key.
