Silvia Hosseini (b. 1982) is a Finnish-Iranian author, teacher, and critic. Her debut work, the essay collection In Praise of Dust (2018), won the Kalevi Jäntti Prize and was a nominee for the Helsingin Sanomat Literature Prize. Hosseini teaches writing at the Critical Academy and is working on a dissertation on the lyrics of Leonard Cohen.
